Mr. George Thomas joined HADCO in the year 2001 as Operations Manager. He has been instrumental in developing HADCO into a Well Services Provider of repute from HADCO’s humble beginning as a Transport Company. Under his leadership HADCO achieved ISO 9001-2008 accreditation in 2008. His efforts also saw the Company successfully bidding for PDO Wellhead Maintenance Contract north & south in 2006 followed by PDO Well Intervention Contract in 2012 that was renewed in January 2017 for 5+2 years with HP operations and Lekhwair cluster added.
Prior to joining HADCO, George has worked for Petroleum Development Oman from 1983 until 1997 in various positions in Well Services Department, last position being Operations Competency Trainer. His next stint was with Special Technical Services as Wellhead Engineer for about 4 year prior to joining HADCO. He has wide range of experience having held positions as Maintenance Engineer, Technical Trainer, Operations Manager and contract Manager. He is a Marine Engineer by profession with over 32 Years of Experience in Oil & Gas Industry
He was appointed Finance Controller in January 2017.
General Manager: Balbino C Buning
He has 23 years of experience in well services in particular in e-line operations, well logging and well stimulation, serving as operations supervisor, company man and contracts administrator for PNOC-EDC’s various service providers.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering, a diploma in geothermal technology and a master’s degree in engineering from the University of Auckland, New Zealand,where he did researches on precise gravity measurements and numerical reservoir modeling.
